Tarp stops prevent the rolled tarp from falling off the side of your trailer. They literally "stop" the tarp. They are an essential component of almost all side roll tarp systems, and they unfortunately need to be replaced often. Tarp stops frequently take abuse from overhead loaders, side loaders, narrow parking spots, low hanging branches, and other hazards, causing them to break or bend. The most common standard tarp stop is a cast aluminum upright cradle, but there are multiple styles to choose from to best suit your application, ranging from offset stops that give greater clearance, to flexible stops that bounce instead of break. Choose from the options below, and give us a call if you need help deciding which is the right tarp stop for you.
