Hopper Conversion Kit 1" Round Shaft Adapter

Description:

• Adapts hopper drive shafts to a 1″ diameter shaft for use with Roltec hopper conversion motors
• Length: 10″ section to be welded into existing shaft
• Material: Heavy-duty steel, consistent with OEM shaft
• Requires precise welding and alignment to ensure motor stays square

Installation:

1. Preparation: Gather tools (marking pen, tape measure, cutting tool, welder, safety glasses). Confirm that the hopper shaft is not already 1″.
2. Marking: Mark centerline for motor mount. Measure and mark 5″ in both directions to outline a 10″ section for removal.
3. Cutting: Remove the 10″ shaft segment without exceeding the marked length.
4. Welding: Center the adapter in the gap. Perform continuous welds on both ends. Allow to cool. Deburr welds to allow proper coupling fit.
5. Final Check: Verify the motor assembly mounts squarely to the adapter. Leave instructions with equipment owner or operator.
