Flex Bows are constructed from rigid yet flexible, impact-resistant nylon, offering an ideal solution for loading trailers. Metal bows bend or break under impact, but flexible tarp bows return to their original shape. While they are not invincible, they greatly expedite and simplify the process of loading end dump trailers, hoppers, grain wagons, and other containers.
These nylon tarp bows are 1-3/8" in diameter, 102" long, and weigh about 5 lbs each. They provide support for vinyl roll tarps on trailers up to 102" wide (outside width), and can accommodate a 7" to 12" rise. Two flexbow pockets (not included) are required per bow. Install flex bows every 42" to ensure optimal support for your side roll tarp.
Nylon is a strong, lightweight, stiff engineering plastic with outstanding durability and resilience. Fiberglass tarp bows are more rigid, more expensive, and are prone to cracking under stress.

Installing Flex Bows on Your Dump Trailer:
1. Measure the inside width of the trailer box.
2. For a 7" rise: Cut the flex bow 1-1/2" longer than the inside width of the trailer.
3. For a 12" rise: Cut the flex bow 4" longer than the inside width of the trailer.
This flexible tarp bow accommodates trailers up to 102" wide. For wider trailers, order 120" flex bows.
