The pullstyle kit features a spring-loaded axle so you can manually pull your tarp out and let the roller pull it back in, sometimes called a "window shade" system because of its semi-automatic roll-up style. When ordering a pullstyle kit, we will need to know your exact outside width where the axle is being mounted, because it is pre-cut and pre-loaded to fit your exact truck.

  • Covers up to 26' with standard tarps or 20' with flaps
  • Max axle length of 102"
  • Aluminum extruded 3" roller bar
  • Machined aluminum end caps and the heaviest spring for the application in the industry
  • Includes rear pull bar
  • Order tarp separately, but we will mount it for you and ship this system preassembled and spring pre-loaded to save you hours of installation time
  • Please note that this system DOES NOT include a wind deflector. That is an optional part that can be ordered here.
  • Please include desired final width (mounting bracket to mounting bracket) in the "Notes" section of your order.
  • NOTE: Tarps ordered for use with this system should measure at least 4" less than the width of your mounted axle.
For example, if your mounted axle will measure 8', then you need to order a tarp that is 7' 8"; if your mounted axle is 6' 6", then you need to order a tarp that is 6' 2". If your tarp is the same width as your axle, then the tarp cannot roll up properly; it requires 2" of clearance on both sides of the axle.

Installing Pull Rope

  • Attach the free end of the Pull Rope to the center of the Rear Pull Bar, through the grommet, with cut end facing upwards. Cut rope to desired length, and tie a knot.
  • Mount two J-hooks, with the supplied self-tapping bolts, opposing each other near the rear of the dump (typically on the gate) to secure the Pull Rope in the covered position.
  • Mount two J-hooks with the supplied self-tapping bolts opposing each other near the front of the dump to secure the Pull Rope in the uncovered position.
