Chain Guard Assembly, 36"

Chain guards protect you and your chain by creating a shield of the otherwise exposed chain that drives your manual crank tarp system. This kit contains two 36" segments, one fitting into the other, allowing you to customize the length of the chain guard to your truck's specifications.

• Each segment measures 36" long, 4" wide, 2" deep
• Comes with 2 brackets and 8 self-tapping screws.

Chain Guard Assembly Instructions:

• 1. Measure the distance from the top of your ground-level crank box to the top of the sprocket shaft.
• 2. Fit the interior guard into the outer guard so that the assembly matches the desired length from step 1 and attach with two screws.
• 3. Place the assembled chain guard over the chain and sprocket shaft, allowing for operational clearance over the sprocket, and mark the desired locations for the mounting brackets.
• 4. Drill holes coinciding with the desired bracket mounting locations
• 5. Mount the brackets to the chain guard assembly and to the truck
