U-Joint for 1" Round Shaft or 3/4" Square Shaft

This U-Joint is not splined and only works with either 1" round shaft or a 3/4" square shaft. Some side-roll tarp systems are driven by a square key or peg. This allows for the crank handle to be disconnected from the roll tube and stowed away, rather than having to fold along the side of the trailer. A 3/4" square peg inserts into a gudgeon or "bung", which is welded to the end of the 2" roll tube. A bolt hole in the 1" bore allows the shaft to fasten to the U-Joint.
