Oversized freight doesn’t come in standard shapes. Excavators, dozers, industrial equipment and tall machinery hauled on RGNs, step decks and other speciality trailers need more coverage than a standard flatbed tarp. Our 12' drop Ripstop tarps are made for exactly that; they give tall, wide and irregular loads full side coverage down to the deck no matter what you’re hauling so you don’t have to worry about keeping your cargo secure and protected.

Material Details

While a typical 18oz Vinyl 12' tarp can weigh well over 150 lb, our lightweight Ripstop material has brought that down to a much more manageable 110 lb. So you can say YES to those taller loads without having to risk your health and safety in the process. The 12’ center section of the tarp features a thicker 14 oz material to protect against sharp edges and corners while the sides have a thinner 11 oz construction to save on overall weight without compromising durability.

Flatbed tarps take a beating, and Ripstop takes it on the chin. The PVC coating prevents moisture from penetrating the fabric, and the reinforced grid pattern of the Ripstop minimizes damage in the unfortunate event of a rip or tear.

Configurations

• This 3-piece set offers 66’ of total coverage which is ideal for use with an RGN but also gives you the versatility of being able to tarp shorter loads. Another benefit of this set is that it divides the total weight of 315 lb into a much more manageable weight per tarp rather than a 2 tarp configuration for 66’.


• Standard Flatbed: For Step Deck, Lowboy and other specialty trailers, two of our 12’ drops give 44’ of coverage which is more than enough to tarp most lower decks. A two tarp set up means that you’ll still have flaps at both ends so your cargo is fully protected and secure while saving on weight with a manageable 110 lbs per tarp.


• Machinery Tarp: If you’re hauling an irregularly shaped load, don’t need a flap or only need partial coverage, you can also use our 12’ Drop Machinery Tarp without flaps to get the job done. This tarp saves majorly on weight for its size, coming in at 95 lb while still offering the same 36’ x 22’ coverage of the standard 12’ drops with flaps.
