Measure from outside-to-outside, including the rub rail. Select whichever is closest to your trailer's width. Modifications can be made during install to accommodate non-standard widths.
The standard legal height limit for tractor-trailers without an oversize permit is 13' 6" (162") in most US states. Custom and overheight configurations require customer signature.
Due to the extreme size and length of this product, it cannot ship with traditional LTL freight carriers, but must be coordinated with a dedicated independent carrier. The system comes unassembled or partially assembled. When partially assembled, the trolleys, bows, and panels are set up and ready to roll onto your flatbed. All you have to do is install the track, bulkhead, and A-frame. Preassembling saves about 15-20 hours of installation time. Every system is built to order in Toledo, OH. They can be shipped, picked up from the Toledo warehouse, or professionally installed by our team in Ware Shoals, SC (requires shipping from OH to SC).
Colors displayed on screen may vary from the final product.
The FasTrak system includes an aerodynamic aluminum-construction bulkhead which comes standard with a matte aluminum skin, but can be upgraded to stainless steel mirrored finish.
Every FasTrak comes with a Standard Storage package, which features two chain hanger racks and floor pans on either side of the door. The Integrated Storage package includes an additional row of hanger racks, floors pans, upright storage compartments in each front corner, and a storage tray above the door.
Additional push-up brackets reduce tarp sagging between bows, providing about 4" of additonal clearance, which helps prevent tarp material from dragging along the top of tall cargo.
Turn your trailer into a rolling billboard! Choose from a simple single-color screen printed logo (44" x 72" max size) or a full digitally printed custom design. (Design work billed separately at $250/hr)
The run-open package locks the system in the open position, allowing the trailer to transport loads too large to be contained within the system. WARNING: The run-open package is NOT recommended. The vibration and shifting of the bows causes abrasion damage to the tarp. This option is only for the rare situation in which the payoff of an oversized load is worth risking damage to your tarp.
For safety and/or aesthetics, LED lights can be added along the bottom of your trolley track. Select the number of lights you would like on each side and they will be pre-installed, evenly spaced in a specialized track that accommodates 1" lights and wiring. Also comes with reflective DOT tape.
Adds an LED floodlight in each top front corner with an on/off switch mounted near the door.
Every system comes with a tube embedded in the tail flap which is rotated with an included crank handle. The rolled up flap is then placed on top of the back bow during use. The rope and pulley system allows you to roll up the tail flap like a window shade instead of having to use the long crank handle. It saves time by not having to stow and unstow the crank handle.
Adding a small window flap allows for moderate air flow during transport to reduce heat and moisture buildup. Ideal for heat-sensitive cargo such as machinery, food products, damp-loaded goods, or organic materials.
The Tail Support Rack secures the rolled up tail flap during transport, allowing for overlength loads to extend past the end of the deck.
The Fastrak II by Tarpstop is a modular rolling flatbed tarp system designed to provide flatbed operators with a safer, more efficient alternative to manual tarping while maintaining full loading flexibility. It allows you to load and unload like a standard flatbed, then quickly cover the load using a ground-level operated system. The design focuses on reducing physical strain, improving consistency in tarp coverage, and minimizing time spent securing loads.
DISPLAYED PRICE IS AN ESTIMATE: Price will vary based on configurations, such as height, bulkhead options, curtain style, etc. After you order or submit for quote, we will provide a detail sheet to collect information about your trailer and your preferences for the finished Conestoga system, and your quote will be updated accordingly. Over or under charges will be resolved before finalizing and shipping your order.
The system is engineered for one-person, ground-level operation, eliminating the need to climb onto the trailer.
The rolling structure moves along a track and trolley system, allowing the tarp to be deployed or retracted smoothly in just a few minutes. This reduces the variability and effort associated with manual tarping.
The Fastrak II uses a patented track and trolley system designed for durability and consistent performance in real-world conditions.
The system is built to handle debris, road grime, and daily wear while maintaining smooth operation over time.
The modular construction allows individual sections to be repaired or replaced without requiring full system teardown, reducing long-term maintenance costs.
The tarp is designed for consistent weather protection while remaining serviceable over time.
The bulkhead is designed to integrate cleanly with the trailer without interfering with connections or loading operations.
The system maintains full load accessibility similar to a traditional flatbed.
This makes it suitable for a wide range of freight types, including lumber, steel, machinery, and other weather-sensitive materials.
Run Open Kit: This optional add-on allows drivers to safely gather and secure their FasTrak rolling flatbed tarp system to the front of the trailer while driving. Sometimes and oversize load is just too good to pass up! (BE ADVISED: The run-open kit is only for infrequent use. The tarp is almost guaranteed to incur abrasion damage from the fabric rubbing against itself from the constant vibration and shifting during transport. Use sparingly!)
The Fastrak II is built for long-term use and backed by a structured warranty program:
The system is designed for ease of service, and components can be repaired or replaced as needed to keep equipment in operation.
The Fastrak II functions as a practical upgrade from manual tarping by combining a rolling tarp structure with modular, serviceable components:
It is a mechanical tarping system designed to reduce physical strain, improve efficiency, and provide reliable weather protection while preserving the flexibility of a flatbed trailer.
INSTALLATION: This system takes an estimated 30 hours to install. Installation can be performed at our shop in Ware Shoals, SC, or at the manufacturer's facility.
