3012781 Buyers (OEM) Pivot Pin

The 3012781 Buyers Pivot Pin must be installed with the groove facing down so that the torsion spring activate properly.

Determining the Pivot Point
Measure from the motor mounting location to the approximate location where you will want the pivot pin, around the mid point of the bottom rail of the dump bed and mark the spot. Then, measuring from the tail gate, where you want the tarp to end, mark the spot where the first measurement intersect with the bottom rail. Then, find the halfway point between your two marks, and that will be the center of your pivot pin. Measure from the front or back of the bottom rail and then transfer the measurement to the other side.
